Photograph Album of Indians by Major Lee Moorhouse Pendleton, Oregon 1906. Major Lee Moorhouse, an eastern Oregon businessman and civic leader who served a short stint as Pendleton's mayor in the mid-1880s and later worked as an Indian agent on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. He was also an avid semi-professional photographer, taking more than 9,000 photos from 1897 until his death in 1926.

Moorhouse Souvenir Album of Noted Indian Photographs is copyrighted in 1906, his second edition from Pendleton, Oregon has 26 lithograph photographs of Nez Perce/Umatilla Indians. Very nice Native American item of Northwest Indians. Measures approximately 11.25" x 9.25".
